Baby Moore is SO loved!!!
One small request that wasn’t too hard, was that guests were requested to bring a book instead of a card! Baby Moore is now set with an amazing library of books to read!
My grandmother cross stitched this beautiful Mother Goose themed baby blanket.
Last Saturday, Baby Moore was showered by our closest family and friends! It was the most amazing day! The event was held at DL Loft, a beautiful Parisian inspired apartment located on the north side of Chicago. My mom, sister, and sister-in-law went all out with the decor, sandwiches, and dessert, while my mother-in-law made all of the delicious sides and salads. I was blown away by all the special details. I wish I could relive the day all over again.
We received so many thoughtful gifts. Just to name a few – my grandma made the most beautiful cross stitched Mother Goose themed blanket and gave us a Mother Goose book to go with. A family friend intricately quilted a black and white baby blanket to go with the baby’s room and my brother and sister-in-law had several items handmade with University of Wisconsin fabric! My husband and brother are Badgers!
My sister-in-law handmade the flowers (she used to be a florist!) and the cubes. Her cousin is a graphic designer and made my invitations and the water bottle labels. The delicious cookies and cupcakes came from a bakery near my hometown.
